HackWithInfy is Infosys's flagship coding competition — pitched as "the Olympics of coding" — and the highest-leverage route to a Specialist Programmer offer. Perform well and you skip straight to a pre-placement interview (PPI) for SP and specialized-unit roles, months before regular hiring opens.
Who can participate
Engineering students in their pre-final year — each edition targets students graduating the following year (the 2026 edition was open to the 2027 batch). Registration is free, and recent editions allow self-formed teams building AI-powered solutions alongside classic competitive rounds.

Preparation focus
HackWithInfy rounds are competitive-programming style: arrays, strings, greedy, graphs, dynamic programming under tight time limits. The same preparation covers the SP/DSE assessment — treat HackWithInfy as attempt one, and the off-campus coding drive as attempt two at the same prize.
