TechBee is HCLTech's early-career program that hires students straight after Class 12 — a work-and-study route where you train, join live IT projects with a stipend, and pursue a sponsored degree alongside the job. It is one of the few structured IT career paths in India that does not require an engineering degree first.

TechBee selection process
- Online application — register with your Class 10/12 academic details.
- Online aptitude test (~60 minutes) — quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, English and basic IT awareness; no negative marking. The aptitude, reasoning and verbal practice sets on this site match the level.
- Group discussion / technical round — current topics or basic IT concepts.
- HR interview — background, career goals and relocation willingness.
Is TechBee worth it?
TechBee suits students who want an IT career and financial independence early, without waiting four years for an engineering degree. You earn from year one, gain real project experience, and finish with a degree sponsored through partner universities. The trade-off: the initial package is entry-level, and balancing work with study takes real discipline. Engineering graduates should use the Graduate Engineer Trainee route instead.
