HackWithInfy eligibility is unusually simple: there is no percentage cut-off, no backlog rule and no branch restriction at the contest stage. The two filters that actually eliminate people are the graduation year and the requirement to register through your college.
HackWithInfy 2026 eligibility (official T&C)
| Course | B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, Dual Degree, MS (Research), MCA, or 5-year integrated M.Sc — any specialisation |
| Graduation year | 2027 only (i.e. pre-final-year students in the 2026 edition) |
| Age | 18 years or older on the day of registration |
| Residency | Resident of India (separate editions run for Australia/NZ and Mexico) |
| Academic marks | No minimum percentage or CGPA to participate |
| Excluded | Infosys employees, their immediate family, and staff of agencies working on the event |
| Accounts | One HackWithInfy account per person — duplicate accounts are grounds for disqualification |
What eligibility does not cover
- Participation vs. offer. Anyone eligible can compete for prizes, but the PPI and the SP/DSE offer that follows go through Infosys's hiring norms — 60% / 6 CGPA throughout and no active backlogs at joining, the same rules on the SP/DSE page. A brilliant rank does not waive them.
- College participation. Registration runs through your placement officer and an Infosys survey form. If your college has not signed up, ask the TPO to write to the HackWithInfy team — Infosys adds institutes during the Starting Block window.
- Batch window moves every year. The 2025 edition was for 2026 graduates; the 2026 edition is for 2027 graduates; expect HackWithInfy 2027 to open to the 2028 batch in early 2027.
- Branch. Non-CS branches are eligible. Panels do not care about your department — they care whether you solved the problems.
Final-year students and graduates are not eligible. If you are in your final year now, your routes are the SP/DSE off-campus assessment (same coding style, same salary bands) or the regular Infosys Systems Engineer drive.
