Registration is free and takes ten minutes — but unlike TCS CodeVita, you cannot simply sign up on a public portal. HackWithInfy enrols colleges first and students second, so the process starts at your placement office.
Step-by-step (2026 edition)
- College enrolment. Infosys shares a survey link with Training & Placement Officers of partner institutes during the Starting Block (January–February). Your TPO submits the college and the list of eligible pre-final-year students.
- Fill the Infosys Survey form. You receive the participant form from the TPO (or via the official page for institutes Infosys adds directly). Enter name, personal email, mobile, college, degree, branch, year of graduation (must be 2027 for the 2026 edition) and roll number exactly as on your ID.
- Receive your platform credentials. Infosys creates your account on the Infosys Assessment Platform and mails the login. One account per person — do not register twice with two emails.
- Take the mock test. Not compulsory, but it is the only way to see the editor, the input/output panel and the proctoring flow before it counts.
- Book / confirm your Round 1 slot. Slot mails arrive a week or two before the March window. Check the system requirements: webcam, stable connection, a supported browser, no second monitor.
- Round 2 call. Qualifiers get a venue and date by email for the April in-person round; carry a government photo ID and your college ID.
Details you will need
| A personal ID you will still have after graduation — PPI and offer mails come to it a year later | |
| Academic details | Institute name as on marksheets, degree, branch, expected year of completion |
| Identity | Date of birth; government photo ID for Round 2 and the finale |
| Hardware | Laptop with webcam for Round 1; your own laptop with compilers/IDEs installed for the finale |
Infosys never charges a fee and never asks for payment to "confirm" a slot or a PPI. The contact for genuine queries is the HackWithInfy mailbox listed on the official page. Students who later apply through Infosys Careers for the regular drive should use the same personal email so Infosys can match the profiles.
