How the round is scored
- Paper coding — one or two standard problems (Dutch National Flag, Top-K frequent, string compression) written cleanly and then reviewed with you for complexity and optimisation.
- Fundamentals — SQL window functions, OOP and SOLID, HashMap internals, process vs thread, deadlocks, memory management. SP-level panels add a design basic and language internals (GIL, generators, JVM memory).
- Your project — exact contribution, one hard decision, what you would change. Some 2025 panels asked for a two-slide PPT on career aspirations beforehand.
- Fit — relocation anywhere in India, stress handling, why Infosys. Hesitation here is the most common reason an SP shortlist becomes a DSE offer.
