Turbo eligibility is a notch stricter than Elite on branch and on the shape of your degree, and a notch more lenient on backlogs. The rows below are from Wipro's Turbo drive page on Superset (2025-batch drive); Wipro's programme index widens the degree list to integrated M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc, so check the live form for the cycle you apply in.
Eligibility table — Wipro Turbo
| Degree | B.E. / B.Tech (Wipro's programme index also lists integrated M.E. / M.Tech / M.Sc) |
| Branches | Computer Science, Information Technology and circuital branches (ECE, EEE, EIE, Electronics) |
| Batch | Graduating batch named in the drive (2025 batch in the latest published drive; 2026 / 2027 batches when the next drives open) |
| Class 10 and 12 | Minimum 60% in each |
| Graduation | 6.0 CGPA or 60% aggregate; degree completed within four years |
| Backlogs | Maximum one active backlog at the time of assessment, to be cleared by the end of the 8th semester |
| Education gap | Maximum three years between Class 10 and the start of graduation; no gap during the graduation period |
| Course type | Full-time only — no distance, part-time or correspondence degrees |
| Institute | Turbo registration is opened to students of institutes Wipro selects; others use Elite NTH |
Turbo vs Elite on eligibility
- Branch: Elite accepts all engineering branches; Turbo is CS / IT / circuital only. Mechanical, Civil and Chemical students go through Elite.
- Backlogs: Elite asks for zero active backlogs; Turbo tolerates one at the assessment stage as long as it is cleared before the final semester result.
- Gaps: both cap the pre-graduation gap at three years; Turbo explicitly bars any gap inside the degree, including a year-back.
- Marks: identical — 60% / 6.0 CGPA throughout.
Common questions
- My college is not on the Turbo list. You cannot self-register for Turbo. Register for Elite NTH; the candidate-reported upgrade path after a strong Elite score is the only other way in.
- I have a 59.8% aggregate. Not eligible — the cut is applied as stated, and CGPA-to-percentage conversion follows your university's formula, which you must be able to document.
- BCA / B.Sc student? Turbo and Elite are engineering tracks; your route is Wipro WILP.
Every criterion is re-checked at document verification after the Letter of Intent — clearing the test does not waive a mismatch.
