Accenture hires freshers into two bands from one test: Associate Software Engineer (ASE) at ~₹4.5 LPA and Advanced Associate Software Engineer (Advanced ASE / AASE) at ~₹6.5 LPA. You do not apply separately — your assessment performance, above all the coding round, decides which band you are considered for.

How to target Advanced ASE
- Treat the coding round as the real exam: both problems fully accepted, all stated edge cases handled — that is what separates the bands.
- Go beyond implementation problems in practice: arrays with hashing, two-pointer techniques, string algorithms — the Advanced interview probes one level deeper than the test.
- Be ready to extend your own code in the interview (“now handle ties”, “now do it without extra memory”) — a signature Advanced ASE exercise.
