A focused 3–4 week plan clears the Accenture assessment if you respect what actually eliminates candidates: the technical MCQs nobody revises, the pseudocode block, and a spoken-English round that must be practiced out loud, not read about.
Week-by-week plan
- Week 1 — Cognitive core. Revise percentages, averages, ratios, time & work and trains from the syllabus; drill aptitude and reasoning sets daily. Learn Accenture's scenario-logic style: the answer follows from the stated rule alone.
- Week 2 — Technical MCQs. One evening each for MS Office hands-on and networking/cloud flash-cards (technical page), then daily pseudocode tracing with a variable table — 18 of the 40 technical marks live there.
- Week 3 — Coding + communication. Solve two implementation problems daily in your chosen language (coding questions), handling every stated edge case. Every other day, run a 30-minute spoken-English session: read aloud, repeat audio, 60-second opinion answers (format here).
- Week 4 — Full simulations. Timed placement papers on alternate days — 90 MCQs + 2 coding problems back-to-back; review every mistake the same day.
Exam-day strategy
- No negative marking — never leave a question blank.
- One shared 90-minute timer for 90 MCQs: bank easy verbal and MS Office marks fast, budget extra time for pseudocode tracing.
- In coding, finish problem 1 completely — including the −1/0 special cases — before opening problem 2; the coding score sets your package band.
- In the communication round, keep talking — steady, simple sentences with no long pauses beat fast, broken ones.
The same month of preparation covers TCS NQT, Infosys and Wipro — apply to all of them in parallel and let the offers compete.
