The Accenture recruitment process for freshers has three online elimination stages followed by an interview. End to end, expect 3–8 weeks from test to offer letter.
Stage 1 — Cognitive & Technical Assessment (90 minutes)
90 MCQs across English, reasoning, numerical ability, MS Office, networking/cloud and pseudocode (pattern here). It is proctored — stable internet, webcam on, no tab switching. No negative marking, so answer everything.
Stage 2 — Coding Assessment (45 minutes)
Two problems in C, C++, Java, Python or .NET. Clearing it keeps you in the pipeline; excelling at it flags you for the Advanced ASE track (what that means).
Stage 3 — Communication Assessment (~30 minutes)
The AI-scored spoken-English round — six sections, 63 prompts. Usually taken immediately after the earlier rounds or within a few days of them.
Stage 4 — Interview (technical + HR, often combined)
A 20–40 minute discussion covering programming fundamentals in your preferred language, OOP with real-world examples, SQL/DBMS basics, cloud fundamentals (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), your resume projects, and HR staples — relocation, shifts, why Accenture. Advanced ASE candidates get a deeper technical grilling, including simple design discussions. Prepare with our Accenture interview questions.
After selection
- Offer & documents — offer letter by email; upload academics and ID for background verification.
- Training — structured fresher training at an Accenture delivery centre before project deployment.
- Deployment — allocation to a project and city (Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Gurugram and more) based on business demand.
All communication comes via the email you registered with and the Accenture careers portal — check both regularly, including spam. Accenture never asks for payment at any stage.
