The Accenture assessment is the online test Accenture uses to hire freshers for the Associate Software Engineer (ASE) role — one of the largest fresher intakes in India. Accenture employs several lakh people in India, its biggest workforce base globally, and hires across the year through off-campus drives on its careers portal and campus drives — so unlike single-window exams, you usually get more than one shot per year.

What makes the Accenture test different
Two things separate Accenture from other mass recruiters. First, the Technical Assessment MCQs: alongside aptitude, you are quizzed on MS Office, networking, security, cloud concepts and — with the highest weightage — pseudocode. Most candidates prepare only quant and get surprised; we built dedicated technical assessment and pseudocode pages for exactly this. Second, the AI-scored Communication Assessment — a spoken-English test with no human evaluator; see the communication assessment guide.
Why the Accenture exam matters
Accenture hires from every branch, runs multiple hiring windows a year, and the same test decides your package: a stronger coding performance moves you from the ASE band into the Advanced ASE band at roughly ₹6.5 LPA. The preparation transfers directly to TCS NQT, Infosys and Wipro exams too.
