The Accenture syllabus spans five scored areas. The topic list below is compiled from recent memory-based Accenture papers — the same topics repeat drive after drive, so treat this as your preparation checklist.
English Ability (17 questions)
- Synonyms, antonyms and contextual vocabulary
- Error detection and sentence correction
- Reading comprehension (short passages)
- Para jumbles and sentence completion
- Idioms, phrasal verbs and parts of speech
Critical Reasoning & Problem Solving (18 questions)
- Scenario-based logic (rules, preconditions, workflows)
- Data arrangements and seating (high weightage)
- Flowcharts and decision logic
- Data sufficiency, syllogisms, statement–conclusion
- Blood relations and directions
Abstract Reasoning & Numerical Ability (15 questions)
- Number and letter series, odd one out, analogies
- Coding-decoding (letter shifts, pair swaps, digit codes)
- Percentages, averages, ratio & proportion
- Time & work, speed–time–distance, profit & loss
Technical Assessment (40 questions)
- Pseudocode (≈18) — loops, conditionals, recursion, arrays, pointers/call-by-reference, operators
- MS Office & common applications (≈12) — Excel ranges and pivot tables, Word track changes, PowerPoint basics, shortcuts, browser fundamentals
- Networking, Security & Cloud (≈10) — OSI layers, routers and subnetting, attacks (phishing, DoS, e-mail bombing, ransomware), cloud service models (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), DBMS basics (ACID)
Coding Assessment (2 problems, 45 min)
- Arrays, strings and cumulative/counting logic
- Math on ranges (divisibility, sums, factors)
- String validation and character manipulation
- Languages allowed: C, C++, Java, Python, .NET
Communication Assessment (63 questions, ~30 min)
- Reading aloud, listen-and-repeat, spoken Q&A
- Jumbled sentences, story retelling, open speaking
