CodeVita has the most relaxed eligibility of any TCS hiring route: no percentage cut-off, no backlog rule, no branch restriction. If you are a student in a science or engineering programme, you can register.
Season 13 eligibility (2025–26)
| Course | Any stream of science or engineering — B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc, B.Sc, BCA and equivalents |
| Level | Undergraduate or postgraduate, full-time |
| Graduation year | Expected to complete the course in 2026, 2027, 2028 or 2029 |
| Age | 18 years or above on the date of registration |
| Institute | Any recognised institute — India or abroad |
| Academic marks | No minimum percentage or CGPA to participate |
What eligibility does not cover
- Participation vs. hiring. Anyone eligible can compete for prizes, but the job offer that follows a good rank still goes through TCS's standard hiring norms — 60% / 6 CGPA throughout, no active backlogs, gap ≤ 24 months — the same rules listed on the TCS NQT eligibility page. Check them before you bank on an offer.
- Batch window shifts every season. Season 13 opened to 2026–2029 graduates; expect Season 14 to open to roughly the 2027–2030 window. Pre-final-year students are the sweet spot — their offers arrive before campus placements even start.
- One profile, one attempt per season. Register with the email you check daily — round slots and results are sent there.
Working professionals and students who have already graduated are not eligible. If you graduated in 2026 and missed Season 13, your route into TCS is the NQT (or BSc Ignite for science graduates).
