Ignite eligibility is generous on marks — 50% rather than the 60% NQT asks for — but strict on course, batch and gaps. Check every row below before registering; mismatches are caught at document verification, after you have already cleared the test.

Common eligibility questions
- I am B.Sc Biology / Zoology. Not eligible — Ignite lists specific science streams. Biochemistry is included; other life-science streams are not.
- I have one backlog I will clear before joining. The rule is "no active backlog at the time of selection". If the result is not declared when your interview or documentation happens, the offer can be put on hold.
- I took a drop year after Class 12. One year is within the 24-month limit; you will need to declare it and give a reason on the NextStep form.
- I am from the 2025 batch. The 2026 drive was for 2026 graduates. Earlier batches are covered by TCS's "Smart Hiring" drives when they run — watch the important dates page.
Engineering, MCA and M.Sc students are not eligible for Ignite — their route is TCS NQT.
