Tata Consultancy Services is India's largest IT services company and its biggest fresher recruiter, hiring tens of thousands of graduates every year. It runs three separate fresher tracks: the TCS NQT in-centre test for engineering, MCA and M.Sc students (Ninja, Digital and Prime tiers), the CodeVita global coding contest whose rank leads straight to Digital and Prime interviews, and BSc Ignite for BCA, B.Sc and B.Voc science graduates.

TCS NQT
TCS National Qualifier Test (NQT) syllabus, pattern, previous papers and preparation guide.
- B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc — 60% or 6 CGPA throughout, no active backlogs, education gap ≤ 24 months, age 18–28
- 190-minute in-centre test: Foundation (Numerical, Verbal, Reasoning) + Advanced (Advanced Quant & Reasoning, 2 coding problems); no negative marking
- Score decides the tier: Ninja (~₹3.4–3.6 LPA), Digital (~₹7 LPA) or Prime (~₹9–11.5 LPA), then a single technical + managerial + HR interview
- Register on TCS NextStep (IT category → Apply For Drive); open to multiple graduating batches

- 120-minute in-centre test: Numerical, Reasoning and Verbal (20 questions × 30 min each) plus one optional coding problem; no negative marking
- 2026 drive: registration closed 22 July, test on 26 August; shortlisted candidates face document verification and one panel interview
