Ten questions assembled from Ignite candidates' 2025 interview reports — a single panel covering technical, managerial and HR in 20–30 minutes. The technical half leans on Java basics, DBMS and your final-year project; the HR half is about relocation and intent. Click a question for a model answer.
How to prepare in one week
- Day 1–2: Your project — draw its ER diagram from memory; rehearse a two-minute walkthrough.
- Day 3–4: Language basics in the one language you named on the form — data types, loops, arrays vs lists, strings; write the ten programs on the coding questions page on paper.
- Day 5: DBMS — joins, normal forms to 3NF, ACID, SQL vs NoSQL, one query each for SELECT with JOIN, GROUP BY and a subquery.
- Day 6: HR — relocation, shifts, why TCS, why Ignite, strengths with examples. Decide your answers; do not improvise them in the room.
- Day 7: Documents in a folder, route to the venue, early sleep.
