Speed habits that matter here
- Memorise squares to 30, cubes to 20 and the common fraction–percentage pairs (1/8 = 12.5%, 1/6 = 16.67%).
- For two-year CI–SI problems, the difference is always P(r/100)² — a one-line answer.
- Use alligation for any average/mixture question: distance from the mean gives the ratio directly.
- Plug the options back into the question when algebra looks long — four options, no negative marking.
