Patterns worth memorising
- Ranking: total = position from top + position from bottom − 1 (after any swap, count from the new position).
- Letter series: track each letter position separately — most Tech Mahindra groups move on independent +1/−n/+2 style steps.
- Coding–decoding: try alphabet positions first, then word-length tricks (cubes/squares), then first-letter extraction.
- Blood relations: draw the tree — “wife of my husband” style self-references are a Tech Mahindra favourite.
