The Tech Mahindra online test is the entry gate for fresher roles — primarily Associate Software Engineer (ASE) — at Tech Mahindra, the Mahindra Group's IT services company known for its telecom and 5G engineering strength. It is one of India's large mass-hiring assessments: the company has planned intakes of roughly 6,000 freshers a year in recent cycles, hiring through campus drives, off-campus registrations and walk-in events.

What makes the Tech Mahindra test different?
Three sections are distinctive. First, the essay / story writing test — a 200–400 word write-up scored automatically for grammar and coherence. Second, the psychometric test — 72 behavioural questions in just 15 minutes that map your responses to 13 managerial competencies. Third, the AI-based communication assessment — a spoken-English round that many technically strong candidates underestimate and fail.
