HCLTech publishes the TechBee starting salary on the registration page: ₹2.50 lakh per annum for the IT Services track and ₹2.20 lakh per annum for Digital Process Support, payable after the 12-month training. Earlier intakes started at ₹1.70–2.20 LPA, so the package has moved up. Everything about growth after year one below is candidate-reported.

In-hand estimate
On ₹2.50 LPA expect roughly ₹17,000–18,500 a month in hand after provident fund; on ₹2.20 LPA about ₹15,000–16,500. If you took the training loan, the EMI (often ₹3,000–5,000 a month over 3–4 years, depending on the bank) comes out of this. Living in a metro on this income is tight but common — most TechBee employees share accommodation for the first two years.
What raises the number
- The degree. Once your work-integrated B.Sc / BCA / B.Tech is complete, you are treated as a graduate for internal promotions and lateral moves; several TechBee alumni report moving to ₹5–7 LPA roles within four to five years.
- Certifications in cloud (AWS, Azure), networking or testing during training — HCLTech funds some of these.
- Track choice. IT Services starts higher and has more technical ladders than Digital Process Support; if you have the maths eligibility, choose it.
- Internal programmes such as the HCLTech AMP route for upskilling, and lateral hiring by other IT companies once you have a degree plus experience.
Benchmark honestly: an engineering graduate joins HCLTech at about ₹4 LPA but four years later and after paying four years of fees. A TechBee joiner has three years of salary and experience by then. Run both numbers for your family before deciding.
