TechBee eligibility has three parts: which year you passed Class 12, your board's percentage cut-off, and — for IT roles — Mathematics with at least 60%. There is no separate entrance-exam fee and, on the current pages, no stated age limit. Check every row before you register; marksheets are verified before the offer is confirmed.

Board-wise Class 12 percentage cut-offs
HCLTech sets a different aggregate for each board because marking standards differ. Find your board:
| Minimum Class 12 aggregate | Boards |
|---|---|
| 75% | Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, NIOS |
| 70% | CBSE, ISC, Odisha (Orissa), Karnataka |
| 65% | Assam, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Punjab |
| 60% | Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Mizoram, Rajasthan, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal |
| IB | Aggregate score of 28 with a minimum of 4 in every course |
Common eligibility questions
- I am Commerce with Business Mathematics. Eligible for the IT Services track if you scored 60%+ in Business Mathematics and meet your board's aggregate.
- I am Arts / Commerce without maths. You can apply for the Digital Process Support track only.
- I passed Class 12 in 2024. Not eligible for the 2026 intake — HCLTech accepts only the two most recent pass-out years. Earlier cycles worked the same way (the 2025 intake took 2023–2025 pass-outs).
- I had a compartment / improvement exam. Use the final passing marksheet; the year on it must be 2025 or 2026.
- I am doing first-year B.Tech / B.Sc. You can still apply if your Class 12 year qualifies, but you would leave college to join a full-time training batch — think this through with your parents.
Engineering graduates are not TechBee's audience — their route is the HCLTech GET drive. Parents comparing options: the training & fees page lays out the money side.
